SMEG Drip Filter Coffee Machine (Moonlight Cream Matte)

Looks good but the coffee doesn’t brew as hot as other brands and only has a 1 hour shutoff timer. The pot is also shaped in a way that it doesn’t fully pour all the water into the reservoir and when you pullout for sneak a cup, it always drips. If not a month if use and even after immediate wipe up, there’s a stain on the heating pad.

I recently purchased the SMEG Drip Filter Coffee Machine in Moonlight Cream Matte from the flagship SMEG store on Bloor Street in Toronto. Dimitra offers honest, professional advice and never makes you feel rushed or pressured into buying. Her warmth, courtesy, and attention to detail make the entire experience exceptional—from the personalized service and store discounts to the complimentary home delivery. It is rare to receive such genuine and attentive service these days. -Pot often (and easily) drips when pouring.
-Adding water isn’t as easy as it should be (shouldn’t have to leverage multiple angles to get the last cup of water out of the pot and into the reservoir).
-The ‘power’ button flashes during the entire experience (from brew to it shutting off). That constant pulsing light makes me feel like something is wrong with the unit even though I’m told it’s normal.
-The toaster and coffee pot don’t seem to be the same colour but the boxes say they are.
-All that said, 3/5 because they are gorgeous appliances.
